Young Adults
Adult Bible Fellowship
During the Sunday School hour at Fellowship Bible Church, we have Adult Bible Fellowship ("ABF") classes. The ABF classes offer good Bible teaching that will bring curriculum to you on a six-year track, involving several different levels of teaching that everyone will receive (books of the Bible, doctrine, and practical living issues). In addition, the classes also provide time for needed connections and fellowship as we learn and grow together.
Crosswalk
Mark 8:34: “If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me.
Crosswalk is a young adult group for men and women who have graduated high school and are 25 or younger. We share the same purpose as the church body:
- To Exalt Jesus Christ, disciple all people, and love others as He loved us.
Our vision, however, would differ as we attempt to fulfill this purpose with a very specified demographic:
- To lead students to a passionate and healthy personal relationship with Jesus Christ; to equip them to minister inside the church body, as well as in their community; and to develop a vital ministry on the Rowan campus.
Crosswalk meets weekly (Sunday nights) starting at 6pm. We engage in Fellowship, Worship, Prayer, Scripture Reading, and Teaching from God’s Word. We end the evening one of two ways:
- With an open gym where the students have full use of the gym, the sports equipment, the loft, and are provided some kind of finger food.
- With an evening at the home of one of our 4 “leadership couples” where we simply spend time with one another and eat.
