Sunday School is New Fall 2010

We have made revisions to our current curriculum offerings during the Sunday School Hour, starting 9:30am. Students 2-years-old through 6th grade will be introduced to a new and unified curriculum this fall. Generations of Grace is a biblically-based and God-centered curriculum designed for children two-years old through the sixth grade. Over a three-year period, this curriculum covers the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, and lessons from Acts and Revelation.

Every week, children in each age range learn from the same passage of Scripture in a way that is appropriate for their respective age levels. A unified curriculum enables families to discuss one passage together each week, reinforcing the lesson that children have learned in Sunday School. There will also be weekly bulletin notes to help you to discuss the lesson with your children.

There are also many changes in the Junior and Senior High Sunday School Program. Our aim is to challenge, stimulate and encourage students to put the Bible into practice. The new lesson format is designed to build relationships and provoke students to think deeper about their faith. Junior High will be studying Generations of Grace: Genesis and the Senior High will be studying from Knowing God 101. We’re looking forward to an exciting new year.
