TIM BUHR

Elder

God’s providential hand of direction on Tim’s life began even before he was born. Tim’s parents made commitments to Christ when they were teenagers, thus, he was born into a Bible-believing, Christ-following family. After public high school, Tim attended Cedarville College (University now), which is where he met his wife, Mary Beth. The two were married in August 1975, and graduated together in the Spring of 1976. God granted them two children, Ryan and Jaclyn.

Then in the Summer of 2009 when they were both married by our teaching-pastor Phil Moser, God gave them a daughter-in-law, Michelle and a son-in-law, John. God has since granted them two grandsons, Declan and Landon, whom we love spending time with.

God moved them to South Jersey and led them to Fellowship Bible Church in the Fall of 2005 from Michigan where they had been for 26 years. They joined FBC in early 2006 and became active in a small group right away. In January 2009 the FBC family affirmed Tim as an Elder. Currently, Mary Beth and Tim are very involved in ministry within FBC. Mary Beth teaches two ladies Bible studies, one in their home and one at FBC on Wednesday nights. She also teaches the 3rd/4th grade Sunday School class. Tim’s involvement is as an Elder, as an ABF teacher, as a small group teacher/leader and as the treasurer of FBC.

Tim and Mary Beth love serving our Lord at FBC and look forward to what He has for them here until we are called elsewhere.
