I can still remember where I was sitting, and what I was thinking when Pastor Nicolas Ellen was giving his lesson on the Cycles of Relationships. Two thoughts were crashing through my head: (1) I wished I had known these truths earlier in my Christian life, and (2) I wanted to get these principles into the hands of our congregation.

Today is the fruition of both of those desires. I get to hear this lesson for the second time (I can’t wait!), and many of you will hear these incredibly practical and Biblical truths for the first time.

Nicholas is a dear brother in the Lord, and a good friend. As a pastor I value his transparency, his knowledge of the Word, and the remarkable ability the Holy Spirit has given him to apply God’s Word to my heart – in such a way, that when I am listening, I cannot help but be changed.

I am truly excited about our time in God’s Word today!

NICOLAS A. ELLEN is currently the Pastor of Community of Faith Bible Church in Houston, Texas as well as an assistant professor at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston Texas. He has a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Houston, a M.A. in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary, a M.A. in Biblical Counseling from The Masters College, and a D. Min. from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has authored several books and is a NANC certified counselor.
