Third Place

Why Third Place?

When ask ed to identify the “greatest command,” Jesus responded that man was to love God with all his heart, soul, mind and strength, and also love his neighbor as himself (Mark 12:28-31).  The Apostle Paul also told Christians to count others as “more significant” than ourselves (Phil2.3). As a youth group, we therefore believe that our identities as Christians should be worshipers of God and servants of others – putting us in third place.

When and Where Do We Meet?

Third Place meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Drop-off for teens is 6:15 in our main sanctuary. Our youth staff will show your teen where to go from there!om there.

Who Can Come?

Students in grades 7 through 12.

What Can I Expect?

Third Place is a place where teens can be themselves without condemnation and hear about the love of Jesus in a non-threatening, hospitable environment. We’ll spend time singing/worshiping, studying the Word of God via teaching times and small groups, and engaging in fun activities in our loft hang-out space and church gym.

For more information on our small groups breakdown, please contact Pastor Justin Carlton at jcarlton@aboutfbc.org.

Sunday School

Sunday School is an important part of a child’s spiritual development. Through a well thought out curriculum, our teachers take students through the Bible, helping them to gain a good understanding of what the Bible is all about and also how it applies to their lives.

When and Where Do We Meet?

Fellowship Kids Sunday School meets each Sunday at 9:30am in the Children’s Wing of our church.

Who Can Come?

Students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

What to Expect

All of our classes are divided into different grades and separated by gender. Students will have a brief time of general discussion before the class starts, and then will move into that week’s lesson. Classes are over by 10:45am.
